BiographyAt the age of 18 I completed my first bodywork education and started working as a massage therapist, primarily with women.
Shortly after I began to study various shamanic practices, both traditional medicine work from South America and from south/middle Africa as well as Celtic shamanism and participating in a Sufi mystery school where I met my mentor to this day (Mr. Derk loeks). Over the next years I continued to expand my knowledge and skills in the healing arts by learning Cranio Sacral therapy (Upledger institute denmark) Ayurvedic breast massage (Dr, Taruna), trigger points (sportseducations denmark), and other bodywork modalities, continuing and deepening my work with women. Around the age of 25 I began my study of the sexual energy body including sacred body de-armouring (Andrew barnes, Aneesha L dillion, Bioenergetics, W. reich breathwork etc) pleasure points, classical tantric massage, yoni mapping (Diana diakova). To add depth to the work I specialized in Boundary and sensitivity training (Somatic experiencing, Betty martin, Martin heese) focusing on how to awaken numbness and finally adding knowledge from the discipline of sexology. I was fortunate to assist and co-facilitate some of the biggest names in the field. At the age of 30 I decided to ground and to deepen the work, so I studied with two renowned therapists (Dr, Thomas trobe) in a mentorship model: The work involved inner child healing, wounding that happens in the adolescence years (svarup and premartha) and included the understanding of shame, guilt, shock and trauma with a focus on how to help the process of becoming sexually and creativity whole. I have facilitated, co-facilitated, organized and assisted healing work, shamanic work as well as tantric work around the world. Over the years developing my own unique style of working with the arts. I have given sessions to over a 1000 women in a one to one setting and I have trained couples in intimacy and various tantric arts. |
My intentionMy intention is to support women in discovering the intrinsic intelligence in their body, what I call the sacred feminine within, and the original and child-like joy that most of us had access to as children and that is part of our natural state of being.
Through this practice we develop a solid presence in the body and at the same time allow more space for our aliveness or life force energy (shakti, chi, kundalini) and creative intelligence. Why is this importantThe more trauma and hurt from the past, the less aliveness we feel comfortable with having in our body.
It is simple, the same aliveness that brings joy and pleasure also brings up the hurt from our past. As a result of this we might feel numb, or shut down. We might feel as if there is something missing in our life. Perhaps we have challenges in accessing our pleasure, sexual drive, creativity, orgasm or intuition. Or we can access only part of our sexuality, but it shuts down when we are in love, when the sex and the heart are united. What we getThe sessions are both a sensitivity and sensuality tantric training, where we train the capacity to feel whole body feelings, everything from the most basic to the more subtle and refined feelings.
We learn to not only feel sexual desire with our mind, but with our senses and wholeness, turning on “switches” that for some of us are completely new. My sessions provide a safe space to allow more feelings and aliveness in, and at the same time deepening our presence in the body. This is both grounding the woman into her own energy and essence, as well as opening her to her playfulness, joy and original natural state of being. Also a mirror and a sister...Beside being professionally trained I am also a woman, sister, and mother on the path.
I have walked through my own dark valleys. I have healed from sexual abuse, numbness and self neglect. I have also healed from my time spent in the spiritual 'world', where some times under the name of healing, more confusion then clarity has been done. I am welcoming both new as well as experienced sisters. I am here to share, and to be deeply present with you. In my space we meet as equals. |
